Get ready for CYCC! Over the next 3 months Toronto Chess Club will be hosting 5 exciting monthly CFC rated rapid tournaments at Lorvale Academy’s Oakville and Markham campuses in anticipation of this year’s Canadian Youth Chess Championship. All participants will gain valuable tournament experience and be eligible to win trophies and free chess classes, and every player who earns at least 2.5/5 will be qualified to attend CYCC 2026!
Entry for each tournament is only $50 and free parking and wheelchair access are available at both locations. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided as well as an area for parents to relax and watch their kids compete. We can’t wait to see you there!
The Great Lakes International Youth Chess Cup 2026
