Toronto Chess Club Youth Circuit

Toronto Chess Club is thrilled to announce a new ongoing tournament series, the Youth Circuit! On the last 2 Sundays of every month from Sept-Dec at Lorvale Academy’s Markham and Oakville campuses, we will be holding one-day 5-round 15+10 quick-rated youth tournaments as qualifiers for both CYCC 2027 and our new Winter Cup!

Every player in our regular season events that earns a top 3 spot in their section or scores a combined total of 4 points over their best 4 events or less will be qualified to compete for the Winter Cup in January, with over $1000 in prizes!

We’re also excited to announce a new leaderboard app, which will track total points, tournament history, player stats and more over the tournament series, with prizes and achievements for players based on their best 4 tournament entries. Don’t miss out on this exciting new series!
